Now, as we scale rapidly, we're looking for a sharp, independent, and mission-aligned Talent Acquisition & People Manager to build and lead the team shaping the future of defense.
Your Mission
You’ll lead full-cycle recruitment for top technical and operational talent—engineering minds, roboticists, and mission-driven professionals—while also owning core HR functions that help us scale with precision. From sourcing and interviewing to onboarding and compliance, your role will be critical to building a high-performance team that delivers cutting-edge results on real-world timelines.
What You’ll Do
Talent Acquisition & Technical Hiring
Own the end-to-end recruitment process for engineering, robotics, production, and operations roles
Conduct structured interviews independently—including deep-dives into technical competencies and role fit
Define job requirements in close collaboration with hiring managers and tech leads
Craft compelling job ads to attract elite candidates in aerospace, robotics, defense, and tech
Drive employer branding initiatives, especially across STEM and defense-related talent ecosystems
Represent Origin Robotics at events, university programs, and industry job fairs
Build strategic partnerships with agencies, universities, and technical communities
Use platforms like LinkedIn, GitHub, and Stack Overflow to target passive and active candidates
People Operations & HR Ownership
Lead onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle management
Implement and maintain HR policies in full alignment with Latvian labor law
Support team performance reviews and structured development plans
Champion internal communication and team culture aligned with our mission and pace
Act as the go-to HR partner for leadership and employees across the company
What You Bring
Proven experience in technical recruitment and HR operations within high-growth or deep-tech environments (robotics, defense, aerospace, software, or hardware)
Ability to run technical interviews independently, understanding the nuances of engineering and product roles
Strong knowledge of Latvian labor law and people management best practices
Fluency in Latvian and English, with excellent communication skills across functions and levels
A strategic and structured thinker who can operate independently and execute with urgency
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Human Resources, Business, or related field (Legal or HR dual background is a strong plus)
